Happy New Year to y'all, hope you all enjoyed the confetti season. It is again that time of the year when resolutions are made for self-improvement. I thought why not jump on the bandwagon and make some resolutions. More than resolutions, these are little tips and tricks that would help you in daily life.

1) DECLUTTER AND ORGANISE:

The first thing that we all promise to do on holidays beside exercise is to clean that damn closet, drawer, cabinet desk and whatnot. It's easier said than done but here are a few tips for you. First would be dividing the work into little chunks and spread it in days. Don't try to complete the entire thing in one day. Instead, if you organise the shoes today, keep the jewellery for tomorrow. The second tip comes from a Japanese consultant Marie Kondo who says keep only those things that spark joy to you when you hold them. This takes me to the second resolution.

2) NEVER KEEP OR BUY SOMETHING IN THE HOPE :

It's just like those empty calories. Never waste money or closet space just because you "WILL" loose or gain weight to fit into it. It will never motivate you to exercise not would it spark any joy. It would be better to give it someone who can use it. Stop being Shinchan's mumma.

I couldn't find Shinchan's mum's gif. Maybe will replace later. Till then enjoy the gif of Gus.

3)MAKE A LIST BEFOREHAND :

Now that the steps of organising are over lets resolute not to create more mess buy unnecessary buying because of that Pinterest outfit goal you have. Rather make a list of all the basic things you need and grab those stuff first instead of lollygagging in sites and shopping aisles.

4) PATIENCE PAYS :

In every situation, patience pays well even in shopping. If you find something alluring keep it in the cart and wait for some time. Chances are high that either you will lose interest in the product or you get a notification of a discount code. Try it and thank me later.

5) BE CREATIVE :

Before buying anything winging it, create at least 3-5 outfits with the same piece. If you can wear it in multiple ways then go for it else sit tight.

6) SHOW SOME SELF CARE :

Last year was a tough one and all we did was sit in PJs for 8 months and scrolled through the explore page. But this year let's change this and wear something that would make you feel as fresh as a daisy even if we stay at home.

That is it for this week. Hope you found this useful if you did please do like and share to show some support. Hope your year goes as beautiful as your mother's smile. See ya next week.

Hello there !! Winter clothing may seem dull and boring sometimes, with bulky wools and chunky coats and limited pieces in winter wardrobe dressing up in winter may seem hard sometimes. Here is a short post on how to jazz up the basic black turtle neck or mock neck with pieces that are available with you already. So dive into 5 different yet basic ways to re-wear your black turtle neck.

1) ADD A DENIM JACKET :

Dress up these winters by adding a layer of denim jacket and remain toasty under the apricity. Black and denim look classy together. Denim jackets can be replaced with tan jackets as black and brown also looks alluring. Black Leather jackets over black turtle neck can also be a good play with texture if the weather is appropriate.

2)ADD AN OVERSIZED T-SHIRT :

Want to mix up loose summer clothes with winter outfits? Here you go!! Add a loose T-shirt over your turtle neck and tuck in the extra fabric into your jeans and you are good to go.

3)ADD A WHITE BUTTON UP :

These two classic pieces do wonders together. Keep it buttoned up or open a few from the top this look always works. Roll up your sleeves to give a peek of your layering, roll them down if you need a formal look.

4)ADD SOME FLARE :

Ditch those pants and wear a flowy skirt to get some change. Add a belt and matching accessories and get the girl power.

5) WHEN IT'S TOO COLD:

Layer a crew neck/V neck bulky sweater over the black turtle neck when it's freezing outside. Scrunch the sleeves to add some painter aesthetics.

Hope you liked the post. Do share any other way to hype up the turtle neck. Let me know which one is your favourite. Do like and share. See ya next week !!

As quirky as Phoebe Buffay's principles were, so quirky was her taste in clothes. With a traumatic childhood and her amazing transition through the years, this tall blonde can surely give you some outfit inspos in this locked down chilly winter. Here are some winter outfit tips inspired by the closet of our very favourite Phoebe Buffay from F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

1) NEVER SAY NO TO COATS: May it be her heirloom or her iconic orange one, Phoebe rocked in coats. Throughout the series, she added a lot of iconic coats like the brown mink coat in S5E6. The epochal orange one in S5E14. She also experiments with non-typical kind of coats like the one with fringe in the very first episode or the metallic purple one in S2E5.

2)LAYER IT UP: Buffay was an expert in layering may it be a dress or a Tshirt she was always on top of the game. Her iconic look in white turtle neck layered under a black button-down dress in S2E13 is something that's even in style after 20+ years. She also wore a sporty look in S3E9 by putting on a white T-shirt over a yellow full sleeve shirt.

3) EMBRACE THE OVERSIZED : She looked adorable in oversized sweaters. Her tall slender body complemented the warm look. Her white oversized sweater with a stag in S2E12 gave her a chic look. Also, she spent 48 hours on the telephone wearing a cosy green oversized sweater in S3E22. She also wore a bright yellow sweater when she had the pox in SWE23.

4) ADD A VELVET TOUCH : Phoebe embraced velvet like no one else. She had velvet added to many of her outfits. The most outstanding was the purple velvet top from S5E14. She also wore many other velvet dresses like the one in which she broke Joey's nose in S3E7.

5) PUT ON SOME DUNGAREE: Phoebe wore dungarees multiple times on the show and yes she did rock it. She paired it up with her quirky top in S3E18. She also wore a similar outfit over a green sweater. Her bright cheerful personality also sported dungaree dress over a bright full sleeve top in S4E23. (There's another of our favourite from F.R.I.E.N.D.S who sports dungarees.
