The new decade embracing us with full swing there comes new zest, new trends and some amazing comebacks into our wardrobe. While the last year was a major eyesore and headache with the entire human civilization trapped between the four walls at home, this year hopefully will bring us something better than just loungewear. Trends repeat after decades and I have made amazing posts on history of trends, do check the out. With one-fourth of the year already gone like 40 winks, let us together go through the top 5 trends that will be worth investing in.

1) EXAGGERATED SLEEVES :

With a mundane goodbye to the last decade, everyone is in crave of some spotlight. And exaggerated sleeves are the right place to invest it. With the stylish sleeves giving an illusion of ant waist, they are in trend right now. Won't it be helpful in hiding the belly fat we gained last year by sitting.

2) VESTS :

The early year winter has already made the knit pullover vests a common streetwear. Wear it loose, or layer something underneath, this oversized, warm and super comfy trend will become a bigger hit in the upcoming winter, as it was in the past.

3) WIDELEG JEANS :

With comfort being the priority, these high waist, wide legged jeans are in trend to please you. Let it be bootcut, flared, or simply straight jeans these babes are welcomed into the list. Bringing back the nostalgic vibes everyone is already making the thing happen.

4) COMBAT BOOTS :

Stomp those crispy dead leaves with those amazing combat boots. Easy to walk, run, kick and throw on a burglar this shoe trend will drag on for years.

5) MASKS :

Though it is unfortunate to see the last in, masks have already become a habit for us. And accepting the current trend the markets are flooded with amazing ones for you to choose. Atleast we will all be having a prop for the 2020 theme parties.

Besides these there are many trends coming in prints (checker board) , patterns (tie details) and colours (bubble gum pink). Would you like to check on them ? Do let me know. Do like, share and help your friend grow !! See ya next time.

Winters are almost gone and we are in the mid season now. Hence it is the perfect time to find those white long sleeved turtlenecks (or mock-necks or T-shirts). Welcome to this short and crispy post on how to style any basic white full sleeved top.

1) SHORT JACKET TAKES YOU LONG WAYS:

Denim, leather or tan white goes with all those hues.

2) EAST OR WEST CHOOSE A VEST :

2021 trends hint towards a winter filled with vests. Layer it over your white top, add a dash of sarcasm to get the Chandler Bing vibes.

3) SLAY IN SWEATERS :

Got some warm chunky goodies, layer it over to look sleek.

4) STEAL THE SHOW WITH A SHRUG :

Show off your Shrugs, Long coats by layering over your top. Look for detailing like embellished collars, ruffles or waterfall shrugs like mine.

5) PULL IN THE PALAZZO PANTS:

Go for wide palazzo pants and ditch that skinny jeans to steal some breath away.

6) JUMP INTO JUMPSUITS:

Layer the top under a strappy jumpsuit and don't forget to add a statement piece to pilfer some hearts.

7) TOSS A T-SHIRT :

Summer seasons call for T-shirts. So why not slowly transit into them as the season changes.

8) THE SUMMER DRESSES :

Too many summer dresses rotting in the wardrobe ? Add a zing by layering them over in spring.

9) CALL FOR A CAMI :

Layer a camisole over the turtleneck to get the chic look.

10) SKIRT ALERT :

Add a summer skirt to a wintery white top and you are all ready for the transit season. Let your skirt flow in spring wind's blow.

I posted after a long break, do let me know about your reviews and do show some love if you liked the post. Till then take care and see ya.

With the evanescent winters of India, we need to showcase the trendy side of of our winter wardrobe within a few weeks. Layering is one of the most stressed upon and best way to vivify the winter outfits. Layering pieces not only keeps you mellow all day long but also lightens the baggage if you are a wanderlust soul.Mixing of various pieces can also be a great way to reuse dresses from the summers and to cut out the expenses here are a few tips to begin layering right away.

1) THE BASIC LAYER. Choose the first layer that is light, body hugging and thin. The best options can be a turtleneck, a tank top or a full sleeved t-shirt etc, that just start the warm journey.

2)THE MIDDLE LAYER: Just like a sandwich or a burger the middle layer here too, is the funkiest and the most versatile one. Depending upon the sleeve length of the inner layer you can have a plethora of options such as vest, button downs, crop tops, cardigans, camis and even the summer dresses can make up the middle layer. You can also add multiples of middle layers if you are smart enough to play with the pieces.

3) THE OUTER LAYER: To beat up the nasty winters the last layer is the toughest one all your study coats, jackets and parkas are made up of this layer.

4) ACCESSORIZE: After you are done with the layers of clothing zest up your outfit with hats, caps, gloves, ear muffs, scarfs, belts, tal boots and all sorts of cute winter accessories.

5) PAY ATTENTION TO PROPORTION: As it involves a ton of clothing and to look like you aren't swamped in clothes, opt for either tight bottoms and loose tops or vice versa.

My pro layering picture

My treasure hunt picture.

Playing with different layers also allows you to switch of up or down according to the surroundings. Hope you enjoyed to post and will make lots of outfits if the winter last any longer, else save those for the next year. Signing off, see ya next week.
