Finding a good and comfortable pair of jeans is like dodging a bullet without being a Bollywood star, but when you find one, you know that magic will happen. Jeans can be worn with a variety of things- Tees, formal shirts, kurta, crop tops, and what not! Having a good knowledge before investing your money over jeans can save you from wasting thousands on something you don't like. So here are some tips and tricks to help you find a jean that flatters you.

1) KNOW YOUR BODY TYPE :

Knowing what suits your body makes shopping much much easier. If your shoulders are very broad, even it out by wearing bell-bottom jeans. If you have an hour glass shape opt for high waisted jeans to attract attention to the waist. If your hip is broader than your shoulder and you have thick thighs then go for the flared jeans to even it about.

2) ALWAYS OPT FOR HIP SIZE :

Though many experts recommend going for the jean size that hugs your waist, I highly suggest choosing the jeans that easily fits your hips that are certainly the broadest part of your lower body if the waist goes perfect it's fine, else you can always opt for accessories like belts and fanny bags or alter it out if it's too big. Because if the hips get tight I neither you can alter it to make it bigger nor can you walk!!

3) STICK TO BASIC COLORS:

Jeans are classic and so must be their colour. Although we love to play with colours investing on brightly coloured jeans that go only with some of your tops may not be very beneficial at the beginning. After finding the perfect pair of black and blue jeans you can go for white or other classic colours such as olive green, crimson, beige, coral pinks according to the colour of your wardrobe.

4) CHOOSE THE RIGHT CURVE:

Always go for jeans which has a rise at the back, that is the curve that goes up from the front to back this helps you when you sit down because the jeans always stay in place.

PRO TIP: Whenever you are buying jeans always go for a V-shaped Yoke (shown in the picture) it gives a slimming effect. There are many types of yoke in the jeans but most jeans have a v-shaped Yoke so finding one is always easy.

Different types of yoke :

5) CHECK THE LENGTH :

Measure the length of the jeans before buying, if you are buying ankle length jeans, see that it ends right at your ankle or just above it. If you are buying straight jeans it should cover the top of your foot. If you are buying jeans with distressed hem then check the end of the right at your angle (or you can always grab a pair of scissors and cut out the extra length if longer or pull down some threads to make it longer) If you are opting for a boot cut jeans see that it goes right on top of your foot where you wear your boots.

6) BEST TIP :

The last and the best is to always try the jeans before investing if you are buying from a physical store or else check for easy returns before ordering online.

Always opt for the quality of jeans because they are for rough and tough use. They are the ones that are used the most in your wardrobe. And investing a good amount will always give your jeans longer life and give you a classy look.

That's it for this week. Hit the love if you like the post, share it with your friends and family and show some love.

As far as, the eye fashion is concerned, after Deepika Padukone's look in YJHD, the trend of wearing spectacles skyrocketed.

Added to that, the escalating screen time has caused both the young and old to use spectacles. Amidst the rise of demand of full framed, Potter style, cat-eyed or frameless spectacles the one that is currently in demand is the straight-armed spectacles. These are also known as 'libraries'. As the name suggests these do not have a bend that goes behind the ear.

1) Easy to use :

As these spectacles do not have any bend sweeping down the ear, they do not provide any hindrance while donning and doffing. Hence they are the best option to use if you wear and remove glasses frequently.

2) Secure :

One might think that if they are easily removable, then they might also have the risk of falling when one looks down. But instead, they have flexible and bendy arms that hug the head of the user and keeps the frame in place.

3) Light:

As they are to be made flexible, lighter and durable materials are used. They do not leave any awful pain on the juncture of the ear where the arm usually rests. This is beneficial for the users who have to wear glasses for longer durations

Many times when the arms of the spectacles are not if the correct size, the user faces the problem of either the glasses sliding down the nose or the arms getting over the ears. But with these straight-armed frames, you needn't worry about the length of the arm as they hug your skull instead of bending down the ear.

Do you know anybody who wears a spectacle?

Share this piece of information with them. Hit the love below and let me know how if liked the article.

As sexist as fashion can get, many women clothing still do not provide pockets large enough to fit the size of growing cell phone (or a crumpled tissue, without looking like a potato bud). Some even worse provide illusionary pockets !! Really ?!

Amidst this baffling situation, several types of bags evolved as the solution. In this post, we will discuss the top 5 types of bag other than the regular purse (handbag/shoulder bag whatever you call it!! )

1) TOTE BAG This bag is often a bit larger in size than the normal handbag. Typically it doesn't have any zipper or locking for the main compartment. Many of these bags are now being used as reusable shopping bags instead of the plastic bags. Made out of sturdy and light material Jute or heavy canvas this bag can hold reasonable weight.

2) MESSENGER BAG Usually, with a long chain or strap that can go across the body, this bag is also called the crossbody bag. Earlier it was used for the delivery of couriers. But in recent times these have come up as fashion icons. Its smaller and stylish version is called sling bag and is commonly used by the younger generation. It keeps the hands free, saves the shoulder from ache and is pretty stylish.

3) THE CLUTCH This teeny-tiny bag is chiefly used during the soiree or other such occasions where not much is required to carry. Often held in hand or under the arm, these bags are often symbols of opulence and status. The women in the British royal family are often seen carrying them.

4)BACKPACK Backpacks are often used by students for carrying books to schools or colleges. But in recent times, with the much smaller, fashionable, eye-catching options of backpacks becoming commercial, many people are opting them. They are best for short day trips with friends or can be carried even to the office. They too keep your hands free so that you can catch the bustling metro comfortably.

5)THE WAIST BAG These belt bags are quite a fashion nowadays. A small fabric pouch attached to the belt going around your waist is something very secure and easy to carry and deal with.

There are are several other types of bags more or less used around the world, but these are the basics. Hope you liked the post. Add a comment below and let me know which bag you are currently using.
