THE 3S FOR YOUR SWEATERS

Winter is my favourite season. From cosy clothes to long and silent stelliferous nights and the joy of new beginnings, everything adds up to the charm of winters to make it special. Festivals such as Diwali, Christmas, New Year and lazy workout schedules can easily make you gain some extra weight. Hence the best and the cosiest way to hide all those extra layers of fat is sweaters. So here are some tips to help you find and style a mellow, comfy piece to keep you toasty throughout the season.

TIP-1: STYLE : With online shopping, a vivid range of sweaters are available easily for you to try. Here are some types of sweaters and their basic styles. Crew Neck and V neck sweaters are the most common. They are formal and can be layered over formal shirts for office looks or wear as it is to the office with formal pants. Turtle neck and mock neck can be used both ways when paired properly. Blazers and turtle/mock neck are age-old friends for formal events in winter. They can also be paired with distressed jeans or other informal jeans to have a casual day out with friends look. Cowl neck and zipped neck sweaters are always reserved for casual events. Cardigans in neutral colours and unembellished buttons are great for formal wears.

TIP-02: SIZE : The size if the sweater can manoeuvre the overall look. While oversized clothing, especially chunky sweaters are trending everywhere when paired incorrectly can make look like drowning in fabric. If your sweater is oversized pair it with tighter bottoms such as skinny jeans or leggings to balance out everything. While there is no harm in trying out oversized clothing, I suggest keeping one or two tight-fitting pieces in neutral colours, which won't make you look frumpy when layered under other things.

TIP-03: STORAGE : Sweaters are delicate and hence must be cared for. Hanging sweaters for long hours can cause it to stretch out and form a hanger dimple, which can certainly take away your dimples. The best way to store your sweaters is to fold them up and roll them tightly and fit it in drawers or racks.

Hope you enjoyed the post. Do hit the like below if you don't want your sweaters to get hanger dimples. Have a cosy weekend and a great time.
